ACTIVE ALIGNMENT
ACTIVE ALIGNMENT
UV/Thermal cure adhesives provide instant fixturing during alignment. Low temperature thermal cure and excellent environmental resistance ensures permanent, precise alignment. KD7009 can cure at an industry leading 60°C.
LENS BARREL BONDING
KU5225 is fast curing UV adhesives with low surface tack and low outgassing reduce risk of contamination.
IR FILTER BLOCKING
KU5146 UV curable acrylate adhesive is optically clear with a high refractive index to meet strict optical requirements; light blocking, low reflectivity adhesives with excellent impact resistance. Fast curing also allows for high production throughput.
LENS BONDING
Fast fixturing UV adhesives with high Ti reduce risk of migration to unwanted sections of assembly. KU5156 is our next generation lens-to-barrel adhesive and has both excellent adhesion to LCP and high impact performance.
IMAGE SENSOR BONDING
High reliability adhesives with optimized modulus for toughness and impact resistance allow for fast assembly without compromising performance.
FPC ANCHORING & REINFORCEMENT

Whether it is either fixed or auto focus, these CCMs can use between 5 to 10 different adhesives in their construction. The specification of the right adhesive is critical to the device’s performance and reliability. Depending on the specific bonding application, each adhesive will have very different performance requirements.
